I love seeing how much I can win, or seeing if I can dig my way out of a hole. I am hooked on a game where the score is given in a dollar amount. At least provide an option to turn the scoreboard off! Turning something intended for a solitary person into a competitive game is misguided and makes playing the game less enjoyable. That, to me, means it is not a group game. As if I am supposed to ramp up my solitaire game to compete with the best players in the world! Or is this information intended to keep me humble and not get a big ego about my ability to play solitaire? I play this game to relax and quite frankly have zero interest in how rapidly others play it or what kind of score they are able to achieve.
Recently the scoreboard has been changed to tell me not only how long it took me to solve the game and what my score is, but also tells me the highest score for the day and the highest score FOREVER but also the time it took for those games.
